Meguiar’s DA Microfiber Correction System 5” Starter Kit provides you with what you need to take your dual action polisher to the next level. This kit works with your da polisher, like Meguiar’s MT300 Dual Action Polisher, to simplify correcting and protecting your paint in two easy steps. Quickly and safely remove moderate defects and bring back that smooth, glossy finish with the included DA Microfiber Correction Compound D300 and the DA Microfiber Cutting Disc - DMC5. This combination removes swirls, scratches, and other blemishes and enhances depth of shine without creating further swirls. Follow with the DA Microfiber Finishing Wax D301 and the DA Microfiber Finishing Disc - DMF5 to further refine the paint, boost gloss, and obtain lasting wax protection. Together, with this combination, you get exceptional polishing power, paint correction, and products that finish perfectly to deliver amazing results quickly in just two simple steps.

• To achieve the best results, always work on a cool surface and in the shade.
• Wash and dry the vehicle with a premium automotive wash like Meguiar’s Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner G7101FFP. If the paint isn’t too dirty, clean with a spray detailer like Meguiar’s Last Touch Spray Detailer.
• Evaluate the paint. Use Meguiar’s Professional Detailing Clay C2000 with Last Touch Spray Detailer (diluted 1:1) to remove bonded contaminants.
• Place washer over thread post.
• Attach the included backing plate to your da polisher and place DA Microfiber Cutting Disc centered firmly on the hook and loop portion of the backing plate.
• Prime the DA Microfiber Cutting Disc by distributing the DA Microfiber Correction Compound D300 thin and evenly over the entire pad.
• Set the da polisher to 4,800 OPM’s and place disc flat on the painted surface.
• Work a 2’ x 2’ area. Start with 2-3 passes of moderate pressure followed by 2-3 passes of light pressure over the same area.
• Remove residue from the paint compound before it dries with a clean microfiber towel.
• Repeat on all areas of the vehicle as needed.
• For maximum cutting ability it’s important to frequently clean discs using compressed air or a pad cleaning brush.
• After eliminating paint defects, remove the DA Microfiber Cutting Disc and place DA Microfiber Finishing Disc centered firmly on the hook and loop portion of the backing plate.
• Prime the disc by distributing the DA Microfiber Finishing Wax D301 thin and evenly over the entire pad.
• Set da polisher to 3,800 OPM’s and place disc flat on the painted surface.
• Apply product using light and uniform pressure. Reapply as needed to the paint and continue working over the vehicle until a thin, even coat of DA Microfiber Finishing Wax D301 has been achieved.
• Remove residue with a clean microfiber towel.
• Repeat on all areas of the vehicle as needed.
• Again, frequently clean discs using compressed air or a pad cleaning brush.
