How does Detailing.com's price match guarantee work?

If you find a lower price on a new identical item at an authorized U.S. dealer, just show us the lower price when you buy the item at Detailing.com and we will match the price, or within 24 hours of your Detailing.com purchase and we will give you the difference (see full policy below for details).

Which competitors will Detailing.com price match?

Detailing.com will price match verified online or brick and mortar retailers whose business is the sale of detailing supplies and equipment which are authorized by substantially all of the manufacturers whose items they sell, including the item at issue. We do not price match Ebay, Amazon, auction sites, or stores which require a membership fee.

Which items does Detailing.com price match?

Almost everything we sell. The item must be identical, including model number, components and warranty. The item must be in stock and available to ship to your address within 7 business days from an authorized U.S. reseller, whose authorization we reserve the right to verify. Services are not eligible for price match.

Will Detailing.com match a competitor's price for a product where the competitor also offers an instant rebate, mail–in rebate, gift check or gift card, or free or discounted item?

If a competitor offers a product that comes with an instant rebate, mail–in rebate, gift check or gift card, or similar discounts, we will only match the price you pay at the point of purchase and will not take such discounts into account. If a competitor offers a product that comes with a free or discounted item and Detailing.com does not carry the free or discounted item, we will only match the price you pay at the point of purchase and will not take the free or discounted item into account.

Are delivery charges included in the price match?

Yes, in most cases, but it may also depend on whether your Detailing.com order received free shipping, whether the competitor offers free shipping, and if the matched price is from an online or brick-and-mortar retailer. See below for details.

If your Detailing.com order received free shipping and the competitor offers free shipping, we will price match the product without considering shipping charges.

If your Detailing.com order received free shipping and the competitor does not offer free shipping, we will include an appropriate shipping charge in the competitor's price before price matching.

If your Detailing.com order did not receive free shipping and the competitor offers free shipping but the product does not qualify for such free shipping at Detailing.com, we will include shipping charges on both products before price matching.

If your order is in-store or for local pickup and the item is price matched to a local brick-and-mortar store, we will price match the product without considering shipping charges.

If your order is in-store or for local pickup and the item is price matched to an authorized online retailer which does not have a brick-and-mortar store, we will include an appropriate shipping charge in the competitor's price before price matching.

Are quantities limited on price matched products?

We may limit the quantities of price matched items, particularly if the other company does. In addition, we reserve the right to limit quantities sold to a customer.

Can a price match be combined with other Detailing.com offers and discounts?

No, Detailing.com coupons, event specials, and commercial pricing discounts may not be combined on price matched items.

How do I request a price match?

For a price match in-store, please bring verification of the lower price and present to a sales representative along with your original receipt. If the lower price is from an authorized online retailer, you must provide the final point-of-sale price from the competitor including shipping and handling fees if applicable.
