At Detailing.com, we're committed to getting your order to you quickly and safely. Please review the following shipping information before placing your order.

Shipping Policies

  • Most orders are processed and shipped within 1 business day.
  • Orders over $199 qualify for Free Shipping in the Contiguous U.S.
  • All orders ship from our Irvine, CA warehouse Monday–Friday.
  • Expedited shipping orders placed after 1:00 PM PST will be processed the next business day.
  • Carrier-provided delivery estimates are not guaranteed, though we make every effort to meet them.
  • During holidays or promotional periods, please allow an additional 1–2 business days for processing.

UPS Ground

Delivery time: 2–7 business days

UPS 2nd Day Air

Delivery time: 1–3 business days.

  • Available for shipments to the Contiguous U.S.
  • Rates are quoted at checkout based on order weight and shipping address.

    USPS Ground Advantage

    Delivery time: 2-7 business days

    • Available for shipments to PO Boxes in the Contiguous U.S.
    • Rates are quoted at checkout based on order weight and shipping address.

    USPS Priority

    Delivery time: 2-4 business days

    • Available for shipments to PO Boxes, Alaska, Hawaii, and select countries outside the U.S.
    • Rates are quoted at checkout based on order weight and shipping address.

    Freight Delivery

    Delivery time: 5–12 business days

    • Available for shipments that exceed the maximum shipping weight for standard shipping carriers, or that contain DOT-restricted items (Dangerous Goods), can be shipped via Freight Delivery.
    • Freight delivery is available to business addresses only. A representative must be present at the time of delivery to receive and sign for the merchandise. Please ensure someone is available during business hours to avoid delays or additional fees.
    • Please note that freight shipments require additional processing time, typically 2–5 business days prior to dispatch. We will notify you once your order is ready to ship.

    Holiday Shipping

    We do not ship on the following U.S. holidays, and most carriers do not deliver on these dates:

    • New Year’s Day
    • Memorial Day
    • Independence Day (July 4th)
    • Labor Day
    • Thanksgiving Day
    • Christmas Day

    Orders placed near these holidays may be subject to slight delays in processing and delivery.

    PO Boxes

    Only USPS delivery options are available for orders shipping to a PO Box. Whenever possible, we recommend using a physical street address—USPS rates are generally higher than our Economy or UPS rates, and PO Box deliveries do not qualify for free shipping.

    International Shipping

    At this time, we do not offer international shipping. Orders can only be shipped to addresses within the United States.

    If you wish to ship your order outside of the U.S., we recommend using a U.S.-based freight forwarding service. These services can receive your order domestically and then forward it to your international destination.

    Please note the following important terms when using a forwarding service:

    • Delivery is considered complete once the shipment is delivered to your selected forwarding service.
    • We are not responsible for loss, damage, or shortages that occur after the order has been delivered to the forwarder.
    • Any loss, damage, or shortage must be reported and documented within 24 hours of receipt by the forwarding service.
    • Once the forwarder accepts delivery, any further transit, customs clearance, or import duties are the sole responsibility of the customer and/or forwarding service.

    For customers in U.S. territories (including Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, etc.), orders are also considered international shipments and are not eligible for direct delivery at this time.

    Direct Ship Items

    Items which ship direct from the manufactuer will be indicated in the Shipping section of the product details page. Direct ship items usually ship with 1-3 business days and will be shipped separately from other items in your order.

    Shipping Address Corrections

    Please verify your shipping address at checkout. Detailing.com is not responsible for incorrect addresses provided at the time of order. If a correction is required after shipping, a carrier fee of up to $18.00 may apply and will be billed to the customer.

    Lost or Stolen Packages

    Once your order leaves our warehouse, it becomes the responsibility of the carrier. We are not liable for lost or stolen packages marked as delivered. If your package is missing, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim.

    Damaged Shipments

    If your order arrives with visible damage or any products are found damaged upon opening, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery. Claims submitted beyond this window may not be eligible for replacement or reimbursement.

    To report a damaged shipment, please email us at support@detailing.com with your order number, a description of the damage, and clear photos of the damaged items and packaging. This is required for us to process your damage claim promptly and work with the carrier to resolve the issue.

    Shipping Restrictions

    Some items may have shipping restrictions due to carrier or regulatory limitations. Restricted items will be noted in your cart and at checkout, and may be excluded from Free Shipping promotions.
