Wholesale Program Terms & Conditions

By applying for and participating in the Detailing.com Wholesale Program (“the Program”), the applicant (“Wholesale Account”) agrees to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Detailing.com reserves the right to approve, deny, or revoke membership at its sole discretion.

1. WHOLESALE PRICING & DISCOUNTS

  • Tiered Discounts: Program discounts apply only to eligible items.
  • Exclusions: Items marked on the product page as "Everyday Best Price - Promotions excluded" are "Pro Net" or MAP-restricted items and are not eligible for additional wholesale percentage discounts.
    Combination of Offers: Wholesale pricing represents our best professional offer. Wholesale discounts cannot be combined with retail promotional codes, site-wide sales, or other special offers unless explicitly stated.
    Price Changes: All prices are subject to change without notice. Wholesale Accounts must refer to the Detailing.com website for current real-time pricing on all distributed brands.

2. ACCOUNT REVIEW & TIER AUDITS

  • Periodic Reviews: Detailing.com performs periodic audits of all Wholesale Accounts to ensure purchase volume and business activity align with the assigned tier.
  • Adjustments: Detailing.com reserves the right to upgrade, downgrade, or revoke wholesale status at any time based on purchase history, account activity, or changes to the account's business model. To maintain PRO PLUS or RESELLER status, accounts may be required to meet minimum quarterly spend requirements as determined by Detailing.com.

3. MINIMUM ADVERTISED PRICE (MAP) POLICY

  • Retail Integrity: Products or goods purchased from or distributed by Detailing.com shall not be advertised or sold below the current retail price listed on Detailing.com.
  • Promotional Limits: Wholesale Accounts may offer limited-time discounts of no more than 10% below the current Detailing.com retail price.
  • Special Events: Requests for discounts exceeding 10% (e.g., Anniversary Sales) must be submitted in writing and are typically limited to a semiannual basis.

4. WEB COMMERCE & MARKETPLACE RESTRICTIONS

  • Third-Party Marketplaces: Wholesale Accounts are strictly prohibited from reselling products or goods purchased from or distributed by Detailing.com on third-party marketplaces, including but not limited to Amazon, eBay, Walmart.com, TikTok Shop or Facebook Marketplace, without express written authority from Detailing.com.
  • Domain Restriction: Products may only be sold on the Wholesale Account’s own branded website as disclosed in the application.

5. SHIPPING & HANDLING

  • Service Professionals & Government Agencies: Free standard shipping is available on orders over $199 (subject to change).
  • Reseller Accounts (FOB): All Reseller orders are shipped FOB Origin. Reseller accounts are responsible for all shipping, freight, and insurance costs regardless of the order total. Free Shipping promotions do not apply to the Reseller tier.
  • Logistics: Detailing.com reserves the right to select the carrier (UPS, USPS, DHL, or LTL Ground Freight) for all "Free Shipping" orders.
  • Payment Requirement: Items will not ship until full payment for both goods and shipping (where applicable) is received. We do not offer COD (Cash on Delivery).

6. EXPORT COMPLIANCE & DOCUMENTATION

  • Domestic Focus: Detailing.com wholesale accounts are primarily intended for domestic use and resale.
  • Export Documentation: Detailing.com does not provide specialized export documentation (including Certificates of Origin, legalized invoices, or USMCA certificates) unless the account has been specifically vetted and approved for Export Status in writing.
  • International Responsibility: Approved exporters are solely responsible for compliance with all international trade laws, duties, taxes, and customs brokerage fees.

7. PAYMENT METHODS

  • Pre-Payment: By default, all orders must be accompanied by pre-payment at the time of purchase. We accept major credit cards, Paypal and authorized digital payments via our secure checkout. We do not accept personal or business checks.
  • Net 30 Terms: Open credit terms (Net 30) may be available for established Wholesale Accounts upon approved credit. To be eligible for a credit application, the account must maintain a consistent 6-month purchase history with Detailing.com.
  • Late Fees: For accounts approved for Net 30 terms, any invoice not paid within the 30-day window will be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% per annum) on the outstanding balance, or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is lower.
  • Suspension of Terms: Failure to pay within terms will result in the immediate suspension of credit privileges and a return to pre-payment status.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • Trademark/Copyright: Wholesale Accounts may not use Detailing.com’s trademarked names or logos, nor the trademarked names, logos, product photography, or copyrighted descriptions of the brands distributed by Detailing.com, without prior written approval from the respective rights holder or Detailing.com.
  • Branding: Use of the Detailing.com brand for self-promotion must not imply a partnership, franchise, or ownership by Detailing.com.

9. SHIPPING ERRORS, RETURNS, & WARRANTY

  • Reporting Errors: Shipping errors, shortages, or visible damage must be brought to Detailing.com Customer Service attention within 24 hours of receipt of shipment.
  • Damage Documentation: To process a claim for damaged goods, the Wholesale Account must provide:
    • Photos of the exterior packaging showing the shipping label and the damage to the box.
    • Photos of the interior packaging showing how the items were secured.
    • Photos of the specific damaged items (e.g., leaking bottles, cracked pails).
  • Delivery Exceptions: If a shipment arrives with obvious damage, the Wholesale Account should note a "Delivery Exception" with the driver at the time of delivery or refuse the shipment if the damage is catastrophic. Failure to note damage with the carrier may result in the denial of a claim.
  • Defects: For issues related to manufacturing defects identified within the first 30 days, Detailing.com will work with the Wholesale Account and the respective manufacturer to find a resolution.
  • Final Sale: Bulk chemicals and equipment may be subject to a restocking fee if returned for reasons other than defect. Shipping costs on returned items are the responsibility of the Wholesale Account.

10. RESELLING TO WHOLESALE ACCOUNTS

Any Wholesale Account who distributes goods and products purchased from or distributed by Detailing.com to any entity for re-sale must require their customer to strictly adhere to these same Wholesale Account guidelines. Any Wholesale Account who does not enforce these guidelines with their own re-sale customers will be subject to termination of this agreement.

11. MERCHANTABILITY & MISREPRESENTATIONS

  • No Warranty: Wholesale Account agrees that Detailing.com makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the merchantability of any products or goods purchased from or distributed by Detailing.com.
  • Indemnification: Wholesale Account agrees that Detailing.com is not liable for any misuse or misrepresentations of the goods by the Wholesale Account or the final retail purchaser or consumer, and indemnifies Detailing.com for any legal actions that emanate from such actions.

12. TERMINATION

Detailing.com reserves the right to terminate any Wholesale Account at any time for violation of these terms, including but not limited to MAP violations, unauthorized marketplace selling, or sharing confidential wholesale pricing with non-authorized users.
