A1000 features microscopically refined aluminum oxide ceramic abrasives designed for ultra-fine finishing. It delivers consistent performance with minimal to no abrasive breakdown and provides extended working times.
A1000 is strictly about achieving the highest level of gloss. Extended working time makes it ideal for detailed finishing work. Whether used as a standalone on lightly damaged paint or as the final stage after A50 or A500, A1000 refines surfaces to the deepest level of gloss and clarity with minimal effort. Compatible with both DA and rotary polishers across various pad types.
PREPPING THE SURFACE
Place vehicle in a well-lit, cool, & contamination free environment
Perform a proper 2 bucket wash with Feynlab Pure Wash or Pure Rinseless to ensure a perfectly clean surface.
Clay the surface to remove any remaining contaminants that may be embedded in the paint.
If you have heavy scratching or swirls, please begin with a500 or a50 as needed for deep corrections. Then return to this step and finish with a1000.
WHEN USING AS A ONE-STEP
Although A500 can be used as a final polish, we recommend A1000 Final Polish to achieve the deepest level of gloss and clarity with the least effort. For black or extremely soft paints, A1000 is the best choice.
For a one-step process, use a medium to high polish pad for balanced cutting and finishing. If you need more depth but not quite to A50 level, start with a cutting pad to begin. Leave the A500 residue on the panel after cutting, then switch to a high polish pad and continue working the same area with the same product until you reach your desired finish.
When you begin the finishing step, work with moderate pressure and slightly higher speed to achieve the perfect gloss. The product stays clear for easy surface visibility throughout. When finished, wipe with a clean microfiber towel in the 300-500 gsm range.
