A thick, 70 percent solids ceramic coating built for the harshest surface on your vehicle. Wheels face heat, brake dust, road grime, and constant chemical attack, and this coating is engineered for all of it. FEYNLAB nano chemistry bonds to the surface for durability and chemical resistance that makes brake dust and grime release with far less effort. It bonds to aluminum, steel, powder coat, and clear-coated wheels, with one to two years of protection. As part of our True Series, Wheel and Caliper is available to DIY enthusiasts as well as certified professionals.

Wheel surfaces stay cleaner longer with reduced scrubbing during maintenance washes. The coating maintains its protective qualities through regular driving conditions and seasonal weather changes.

FEYNLAB Ceramic Wheel and Caliper was built for one job: surviving the absolute worst conditions your wheels see every day. Heat, brake dust, road grime, and heavy contamination are exactly what this coating was designed to handle. The product delivers seventy percent solid ceramic content, creating a dense, durable protective layer that withstands extreme temperatures and constant abuse. Once applied, wheel cleaning becomes dramatically easier with brake dust and contamination releasing with minimal effort. FEYNLAB nano chemistry allows the coating to penetrate the existing surface structure for a true bond, creating a level of durability and chemical resistance that sets it apart from anything else in this category. The result is a highly hydrophobic and slick surface that repels contamination effectively and makes washing dramatically easier. It withstands high temperatures from brake systems, bonds well to aluminum, steel, and powder coated surfaces, maintains wheel finish, and gives true depth of color. Each thirty milliliter bottle typically covers two to three full sets of wheel faces when applied with standard methods, or one to two sets when applied with airbrush depending on wheel design complexity. As part of our True series, Ceramic Wheel and Caliper delivers professional grade durability for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals alike.

Ceramic and Wheel Caliper Benefits:
With an extremely high solids content (70%), Feynlab® Ceramic and Wheel Caliper will stand up to the daily beating delivered by road contamination and brake dust.

FEYNLAB’s™ true nano technology and bonding chemistry allows for an unparalleled level of protection since the formula penetrates further into the existing paint structure than anything else available.

APPROVED SURFACES

  • Clear-coated painted wheels
  • Painted brake calipers
  • Chrome surfaces
  • Powder Coated Surfaces
  • Chrome Surfaces
  • Do not apply to unapproved surfaces.

Use of FEYNLAB® products on surfaces not listed is done at the user’s own risk.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Thoroughly clean wheels and calipers using FEYNLAB® TIRE AND WHEEL CLEANER and FEYNLAB® PURE WASH. If needed, continue with a wheel acid to assist in any further stuck contamination. You can also follow with a clay treatment and polishing when necessary.

Once the surface is cleaned and corrected to your desired level, remove all remaining oils or residue using FEYNLAB® PANEL PREP. Proper surface prep is critical in order to achieve maximum bonding and long-term durability.

APPLICATION ENVIRONMENT
Apply in a clean, well-lit, temperature-controlled environment between 10°C–30°C (50°F–85°F). Temperature and humidity play a role in cure time. Higher humidity accelerates curing. If humidity approaches 75% or higher, shorten dwell and wipe times accordingly. The same applies to temperature—the higher it goes, the shorter your dwell times should be. Air movement also speeds curing. Shut down fans and minimize airflow during application to maintain consistent dwell times across all sections.

APPLICATION DIRECTIONS

  1. Always begin with a small test area to determine proper flash times for your specific conditions.
  2. Shake the bottle vigorously for 2 minutes before use.
  3. Open the bottle and allow 1 minute of air exposure before application.
  4. Apply a small amount of product to a microfiber applicator and spread evenly across the surface. Use enough product to fully coat the area without oversaturating. And with overlapping passes to “cross hatch” or simply ensure even coverage.
  5. Allow the coating to dwell for 5–25 minutes. Do not exceed 40 minutes — extended dwell times will make the leveling process significantly more difficult.
  6. Level the remaining coating using a few clean microfiber towels, following the same pattern used during application.

OPTIONAL AIRBRUSH APPLICATION
Using an airbrush of your choice, the coating may be spray-applied. This can provide a more uniform and dense coating. This process will also extend dwell times to 10–35 minutes.

  1. Always begin with a small test area to determine proper flash times for your specific conditions. (preferably the back of the wheel or in the barrel)
  2. Shake the bottle vigorously for 2 minutes before use.
  3. Open the bottle and allow 1 minute of air exposure before application.
  4. Ensure your gun has a needle and tip size of 0.3–0.5 mm.
  5. Fill the cup with coating and set air pressure between 15–25 psi at the gun, with a general sweet spot of 20–22 psi.
  6. Keep the gun perpendicular to the surface and approximately 4–6 inches away. Apply light, overlapping passes. Do not try to “wet it out” in one pass. Allow the coating to build gradually into a thin layer.
  7. Cover the entire area and allow it to dwell for the time established during your test section. Do not exceed 40 minutes extended dwell times will make the leveling process significantly more difficult.
  8. Level the remaining coating using a few clean microfiber towels, following the same pattern used during application.

INFRARED CURING (OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED)
For accelerated curing, use an IR lamp to bring the surface temperature to 60°C (140°F). Set the lamp approximately 30–36 inches from the surface and cure for 15 minutes per area.

INSPECTION
Carefully inspect all edges, tight areas, and contours for high spots during the final wipe. High spots are easiest to remove within 20–40 minutes after wipe-off. Once curing begins, removal becomes significantly more difficult.

POST-APPLICATION CARE
Avoid water exposure for 24 hours. Avoid all chemicals and car washes for 7 days.

SHELF LIFE
Unopened: 1 year
Opened: Use within 30 days

SAFETY
Always wear gloves and a respirator during application.
Ensure the application area is free of loose contamination.
