A professional leveling product with no equivalent on the market, built for the coatings that are hardest to wipe off cleanly. High-solids and multi-layer coatings reach a semi-cured stage where standard removal drags residue and leaves high spots that are nearly impossible to fix once cured. Leveling Aid is the first line of attack when battling high spots. With some ceramic built in, this product can knock down a high spot, while depositing more coating and ensuring no further work is needed.  It works across all ceramic coating chemistries, including other brands (please test non Feynlab products accordingly and at your own  risk), leaving a crystal-clear, residue-free surface.

Makes coating application stress-free for both new and experienced users. Creates smooth finishes without the need for polishing or wet sanding when high spots occur.

FEYNLAB Leveling Aid
Leveling Aid is a specialized correction product for ceramic coating installations, with no direct equivalent on the market. It is built for one job. It alleviates and removes high spots left behind after a ceramic coating has been applied. The formula carries ceramic chemistry of its own. As it knocks down a raised area of coating, it deposits ceramic back onto the panel. The treated area is left coated and protected rather than thinned out or stripped bare. This is what separates Leveling Aid from every other correction method an installer might reach for.

  • Removes high spots from a freshly installed ceramic coating
  • Deposits ceramic as it works, leaving a protected surface behind
  • Effective on high spots found up to 24 hours after installation
  • Compatible with FEYNLAB ceramic coatings and coatings outside the FEYNLAB family
  • Levels raised areas without stripping the coating around them
  • No comparable product available on the market
  • 120 mL bottle
  • Professional use

What Leveling Aid Does
High spots happen. Even a careful installation can leave a raised edge, a missed buff line, or a pocket of product near an emblem or panel gap. Left alone, these areas harden and become difficult to correct. Leveling Aid addresses them directly. It softens the raised coating enough to level it cleanly, then leaves ceramic in its place. The result is a flat, even, fully coated surface with no visible defect and no bare patch.

Why the Ceramic Content Matters
Most correction methods take coating away. They knock down the high spot but leave a thinned or unprotected area behind, which then has to be recoated or blended. Leveling Aid works differently. Because ceramic is built into the formula, the product replaces what it levels. You are not stripping coating off the panel. You are reworking it into an even layer while adding protection back to the surface. The panel stays coated from edge to edge.

The 24-Hour Window
High spots are easiest to correct while the coating is still in its early cure. Leveling Aid extends that opportunity. A high spot discovered up to 24 hours after installation can still be leveled cleanly with this product. The sooner the high spot is treated, the easier the correction. Once the coating moves well beyond that window and fully hardens, machine polishing becomes the only option, and that removes coating in those areas entirely.

Directions
Work in a well-lit, temperature-controlled environment between 50°F and 85°F (10°C to 30°C), free of loose contamination. Have several clean microfiber towels and two to three microfiber applicators ready before you begin.

  • Identify the high spot under strong, angled lighting.
  • Apply a small amount of Leveling Aid to a clean microfiber applicator.
  • Work the product over the high spot and the area immediately around it, using light, even passes.
  • Level the area with a clean microfiber towel
  • Follow with a second clean towel to leave a clear, even finish. Use minimal pressure. The pass should feel as effortless as drying a panel.
  • Inspect the area again under the same lighting to confirm the high spot is gone.
  • If still present, reapply the same way until it dissipates
  • Keep the cap on the bottle whenever the product is not in use.

Working One Area at a Time
Treat one high spot before moving to the next. This keeps the product working only where it is needed and prevents over-application across the panel.

Final Inspection
Check edges, emblems, badges, and tight spaces first. These are where coating most often pools and where high spots are most likely to form. Confirm each treated area is flat and clear before moving on.

Post-Application Care

  • Avoid all water contact for 24 hours.
  • Avoid all chemicals and automated car washes for 7 days.
  • Wash and maintain using FEYNLAB Pure Wash or FEYNLAB Pure Rinseless with FEYNLAB Detailer.

Climate Notes
Temperature and humidity affect how quickly the underlying coating cures. Higher humidity speeds the cure cycle and shortens the window for easy correction. At humidity near 75% or above, treat high spots as soon as they are found. Work in a temperature-controlled space whenever possible, with humidity kept as low as achievable.

Cautions
Always wear a respirator and gloves during application. Make sure the working area is free of loose contamination before you begin. ALWAYS TEST ON OTHER BRANDS OF COATING BEFORE FULL USE. FEYNLAB IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR COATINGS PRODUCED BY OTHER MANUFACTURERS.

Approved Surfaces

  • Ceramic-coated, clear coated painted surfaces

Use of FEYNLAB products on any surface not explicitly listed in the instructions is done at the user’s own risk. FEYNLAB will not be held liable for damage resulting from application on unlisted surfaces.
