How It Works
Most trim restorers coat the surface and call it done. Plastic Black Ultra works differently. UV exposure breaks down the polymer chains within plastic over time, which is what causes fading and that chalky, gray appearance. The repolymerization technology in this formula bonds chemically with those disrupted polymer chains, reconstructing the plastic surface at a molecular level. The process also integrates a ceramic backbone into the restored surface, adding durability and resistance to the environmental factors that caused the damage in the first place.
WARNING: Black Surfaces Only
Plastic Black Ultra contains pigmentation that will permanently stain any trim that is not black. Do not use this product on gray trim, tan trim, or any non-black plastic surface. This is not a reversible mistake. Confirm the surface is black before application.
Surface Preparation
- Place the vehicle in a well-lit, temperature-controlled environment between 50°F and 85°F (10°C to 30°C) and free of loose contamination before applying.
- Thoroughly clean the vehicle using FEYNLAB Pure Wash or Pure Rinseless before beginning.
- If necessary, use FEYNLAB All Purpose Cleaner for a deeper clean.
- Final wipe with FEYNLAB Panel Prep will ensure the surface is ready for coating.
