This professional grade 3" vented backing plate is original equipment on our G8 Mini Random Orbital. It features our exclusive heat management system with vertical cooling ports for cooler working surface and extended pad & tool life. The plate is weight matched to the G8 orbital counterbalance for balanced and smooth operation. It features firm yet flexible high-density urethane foam with chamfered edges for flexibility and improved contouring over and around body panels. The Velcro® brand micro-hook attachment is optimized to create the perfect balance between strong pad engagement and easy disengagement. Plate also has rotational speed markings to help ensure optimum rotation speed.

Note: Fits Griot's Garage 3" Random Orbital (item # 10739), the G8 (item # 10908), and certain random orbital/dual-action tools that accept a 5/16" - 24 threaded shaft. Is not compatible with the 1st generation 3" Random Orbital (item # 10685).
